Webserver routing /load balance

This question is regarding webserver load balancing

We are planning to install two gateway instances (Two webservers, one gateway component per webserver) as the part of cognos 10.1.1 installation. Basically we need to perform the load balancing of the gateway components. I think that we can perform this only by using webserver routers. Is there any other way to perform this activity??? Can you please share some knowledge regarding this….

Also which router do we need to use???please share some details regarding this also

Please note we are using the OS Linux RHEL ….

You’ll have to put a load balancer in front of the HTTP servers.

Otherwise if they are in different sites you could ask users to hit their local server.
