does it occur with every reconsile on every planning database? Or just on 1 planning database?
If it is only one planning database try to export the content and restore it in a newly created database. When it fails a corruption might be exported/imported. Then create a new database and rebuild it step by step with analyst queries, piece by piece to see where it fails.
Looks like not enough disk space to perform the reconsile action
Failed HRESULT [0x8007000E]: Not enough storage is available to complete this operation
I'm not sure if it is the database server or the Cognos Planning server which has not enough diskspace... ::)
my educated guess is the database server, sinced reconsile is mainly a database action..
HI,
Can you please explain me what do you mean by planning server and DB diskspace??
In planning server we have 24 GB RAM and in DE we have 50 GB free table space for this application.
The error indicates that there isn´t enough memory available to complete the job item. When the job item starts, a specified amount of memory is requested and that memory needs to be contiguous (memory fragmentation is a common cause of this error), so the larger the node, the more memory is needed and the harder it may become to obtain a large contiguous memory space. A reboot commonly fixes the problem as it clears out your memory fragmentation.
