Problem
Since the update of Ipad to IOS 6.1, the Cognos app is behaving differently
Cause:
The iPad Native App is supported on iOS 6 as of version 10.2.0.0.2 and is backwards compatible to the mobile server 10.1.1.0.
In iOS 6, Apple have made some changes to Safari in the way it handles events such as buttons and swipe controls.
The iPad native App is a hybrid application which uses both iOS and the Safari browser. Both the App and the web mobile client are affected.
Apple have changed the way some images are scaled in iOS 6 and Apple have changed their web caching approach in Safari as well.
Solution:
check the Ipad IOS version and the Cognos Mobile app version. The steps can be found here:
