Hi,
I have the following instance :
c10_64 : Bi Server App tier, Content manager and Mobile app tier
c10 : Bi server gateway, Metric Server gateway and Mobile gateway
c10\Metric server : Metric App tier
c10\dev tools : Framework and Transformer
OS: windows server 2008 R2
DB : Oracle 11g
DB client : 32bit
Cognos version : 10.1.1
ojdbc : ojdbc5.jar
I have successfully installed all components. I was able to create the metric package but initializing the metric store gives error :
CMM-APP-3254 The initialization of the metrics store failed. DIS-ERR-3115 The task failed.
DIS-RUN-3140 Step ‘Install the metric data store’ execution failed in package ‘null’.

the error message was very long.
I can’t seem to find any documents pointing to this issue with the same instance we have.
