Is there an order for installing Cognos 8.4 Fix Packs?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is an order to install Cognos 8.4 fix packs for example 8.4 FP1 and metrics 8.4 FP1.
BI first or Metrics? Or are the updates independend and does the order not have any impact…?

Hi,

the fixpacks are independend releases. The order shouldn’t affect your Cognos installation. I normally start with BI fixpack first and then metrics and this works for me.
