Hi I am new to cognos BI
I have very basic question about Drill through Definition Action Options.
According to my understanding
Run the Report : this option executes the target report from the content store
Run the Report using dynamic filter: IBM Cognos Business Intelligence match values from the selection context with data in the target (dynamic filtering), select Run the report using dynamic filtering
View the most Recent Report : this options is used to run the most recently saved output version of the report
Now my question is when to use ‘view the most recent report’ option
and Whats the difference between ‘running a report’ and ‘executing the report’
Any inputs would be helpful
