While opening the Cognos Administration I am getting the error as ‘DashboardException PF-VAL-6162 Compile failed’. I attached screenshot of the same .
Any one can help on this.

can you provide us with more information about your environment?
like Cognos version, components, web server version, application server type and Operating system?

This is quite interesting error… Is this brand new installation or system was running fine until now? If this was working, then definitely I would start with hardware configuration changes that recently happened, but if this is brand new, please confirm that your Cognos Configuration starts properly, w/o errors first and then confirm your capability, if you allow to open Administration Page. What about Cognos Connection overall? Is everything working for you?
