I have reports in Cognos which were authored by my peer.He is the owner of these reports. That person has now left the organization. I am the admin of the system. When i open a report that belongs to this user using the report studio, it doesn’t show anything except a lock sign. This lock sign is also not click-able . Then i made myself the owner of this report but still i am unable to edit this report using report studio. Any way out??
Report Studio doesn’t have locking mechanism. You must be using 3rd party add-on such as MotioCI or BSP which provide locking function. If you find that tool, contact their support team, they will help to unlock it, otherwise you out of luck.
