Cognos Planning 8.3 FP2 installation

Hi,

We have been recommended by Cognos to apply Planning 8.3 FP2 to resolve our single sign on issue with Planning. There are 3 components of the patch.

  1. Client download for users that only use planning on the web
  2. Contributor excel addin
  3. Updater-This can be used for the planning admin server, planning web server, planning job servers and client machines that have contributor or analyst installed.

Can anybody advise where 1 and 2 need to be installed or only applying 3 takes care of everything.

well… Contributor excel addin. apply this only on the client computers (when they have excel of course and using it) :smiley:
