Hi,
There is currently a slight issue where IBM Cognos Express is supported on only Windows Server 2003 64-bit, but servers purchased since the beginning of the year cannot be preloaded with this version of Windows - instead they come with Windows Server 2008, which is not a supported Express platform.
The workaround for the moment is to order a separate copy of Windows 2003 Server from Microsoft (it is still available to order even though it no longer comes preloaded on servers) and replace the preinstalled Windows 2008 Server with this.
The next release of Express should hopefully include Windows 2008 Server compliance to address this issue.
