Cognos Express client application (modules) cannot be installed after downloading from the welcome page

Symptom
A client application cannot be installed after it is downloaded from the IBM Cognos Express Welcome page. A message may appear similar to the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\Cognos IBM\Local Setting\Termporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\RCXS2H2A\install_fm_HT<ip>_PT19300_E[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Cause
This may occur when the IBM Cognos Express installation is copied into a VMWare image.

Solution
If you encounter this issue, check the name of the client installer.exe in each of the sub-folders under C:\Program Files\IBM\Cognos Express\ClientInstallers on the server. Ensure the % symbol in each filename has not been converted to %0025. If it has, rename the file to remove the 0025.
