Symptom
User can not log on to Controller since he/she can not be authenticated by the system. CAM-AAA-0135, User already authenticated in all available namespace. message appear

Problem
After installation of Interim Fixpack1 the user receives error message ‘User already authenticated in all name spaces’.

Cause
During installation of FP1 or FP1-IF1 the security settings are reset to default (Cognos 8 insteadof windows or native).

Solution

  1. Open ‘Cognos 8 Controller Configuration’ and check within ‘Server Authentication’ if the security setting is set to ‘Cognos 8’.
  2. Change the ‘Server Authentication’ from ‘Cognos 8’ back to the setting before the update (native or Windows).
