I am wanting to move data from one App to another, following a Top_Down approach. The source Elist contains the hierarchy parent (calculated item) and three child elements / items. The target Elist contains the same list of items (parent and child), however during an Admin Link from from Contributor Administrator, or from Analyst itself using a Dlink to the Contributor target, the Parent item is not available for allocation / matching.
I have tried to move the required data using an Analyst Dlink, an Analyst cube export and Contributor import, and an Admin link, all with the same results.
Does anyone have any idea if there is a work around for this irritating situation?
My only method now would be to manually input the data into the application itself on the Cognos Connection web application.
Please help
